Felicitation of Class XII Academic Achievers and the Scholar Badge Ceremony of Classes V and VI

In a morning filled with pride, inspiration, and celebration, the school hosted a grand double felicitation ceremony on Friday, 15th May 2026, in its Multipurpose Hall. The event brought together two momentous occasions under one roof — the Felicitation of Class XII Academic Achievers and the Scholar Badge Ceremony of Classes V and VI — honouring the outstanding scholastic accomplishments of students across two very different yet equally significant stages of their academic journey.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of eminent dignitaries, proud families, and of course, the young achievers themselves, making it an occasion that was as memorable as it was meaningful.

The event was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests who lent the ceremony great prestige and significance:

Shri Kailash Gahlot, MLA Bijwasan and Ex-Cabinet Minister, Government of Delhi, graced the occasion bringing with him a deep appreciation for the role of education in shaping the future of the nation.

Shri Shivendra Kant Tiwari, Additional Commissioner of Police, Licensing Division, was also present, whose distinguished service to the nation stood as an inspiring example for the young minds in attendance.

Ms. Gayatri Jolly, a proud alumna of the school from the Batch of 2007, attended as Special Guest. A former Head Girl of the school and a Delhi State Basketball representative during her school years, Ms. Jolly’s return to her alma mater was a moment of great warmth and nostalgia, and her presence served as a living testament to the values and vision this institution has always stood for.

The ceremony commenced on a deeply moving note with a ‘Welcome Dance’ performed by the young and talented dancers of classes V and VI. Dancing gracefully to the devotional composition ’Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu’, the young performers rendered a heartfelt tribute to their parents, teachers, and all the mentors and guides who have shaped their journey.

Welcome Address by the Principal

The Welcome Address was delivered by the school’s Principal, Ms. Deepti Vohra, whose words resonated deeply with every person in the hall. Ms. Vohra warmly applauded the meritorious scholars of Class XII as well as the young achievers of Classes V and VI, acknowledging the hard work, perseverance, and dedication that had brought each one of them to this moment.

In her address, Ms. Vohra placed special emphasis on the indispensable role of mentors in a student’s life — parents, teachers, and guides — who work tirelessly behind the scenes to nurture potential, instil values, and light the path forward. She eloquently underscored that no achievement stands alone, and that every success is a shared triumph between the student and those who believed in them.

Ms. Vohra also highlighted the spectacular academic performance of the school in the Class XII Board Examinations, expressing immense pride in the collective achievement of students and staff alike, and reaffirming the school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

Felicitation of Class XII Academic Achievers

The ceremony then proceeded to one of its most anticipated segments — the Felicitation of Class XII Academic Achievers. The following categories of students were honoured:

Overall School Toppers — Students who achieved the highest aggregate scores across all streams were recognised and felicitated for their all-round academic brilliance.

Stream-wise Toppers — Top performers from each academic stream were individually honoured, celebrating excellence across the diverse fields of study pursued by Class XII students.

Centum Achievers — A remarkable 43 students who secured 100 percent marks in their respective subjects in the Class XII Board Examinations were felicitated in recognition of this extraordinary feat — a milestone that reflects not just talent, but precision, preparation, and sheer determination.

Gold Medallists— In a particularly poignant and celebratory moment, 12 students who had narrowly missed their Gold Medals in the previous year were felicitated as Gold Medallists this year, having secured more than 90 percent in the Board Examinations. Their perseverance, resilience, and refusal to give up made their recognition one of the most emotionally charged and inspiring moments of the morning. Their journey from near-miss to triumph was met with thunderous applause from the audience.

Scholar Badge Ceremony — Classes V & VI

In the latter part of the programme, the focus turned joyfully to the younger achievers of the school. **350 meritorious students of Classes V and VI** were awarded the prestigious **Scholar Badge** in recognition of their exemplary academic performance. Each badge presented was a symbol of hard work, discipline, and a love for learning — values that the school nurtures from the very earliest years of a child’s education.

The sight of young students stepping forward, beaming with pride, to receive their badges — with their families cheering from the audience — was a moment of pure joy and one that encapsulated the spirit of the entire ceremony.

The ceremony concluded on a note of immense pride, gratitude, and inspiration. It was an occasion that celebrated not just academic achievement, but the collective effort of students, parents, teachers, and the broader school community. The presence of distinguished guests, the warmth of the performances, and the recognition of achievers across different ages and milestones made it a truly unforgettable morning.

As the students walked away with their awards, badges, and memories of this day, the message of the ceremony lingered — that excellence is not born in a single moment, but built patiently, day by day, with purpose, passion, and the unwavering support of those who believe in you.
