Health and Hygiene Week
Health and Hygiene Week was organised for the students of classes Nursery to II, from 27 to 30 August, 2024. The week featured a plethora of activities that aimed to inculcate healthy eating habits and maintain good personal hygiene among the children. The ‘Dress Me Up’ show was marked by innovative props and creative talk. The children thoroughly enjoyed activities and crafts such as Happy Tooth/Sad Tooth, Colourful Palette, My Fruit Platter, Watermelon Basket, Word Search etc. There was also a creative writing session on the topic, “ Healthy, Wealthy and Wise” which saw little writers penning their best thoughts. They also presented their ideas on “Swatch Raho, Surakshit Raho”. Additionally, songs were also done that kept the little ones happy and gay. The school doctor, Dr. Apoorva Parikh, discussed and demonstrated proper cleaning practices, including proper brushing of teeth, washing hands, bathing etc. The children responded enthusiastically to the doctor’s talk organised in the C Block courtyard. To inculcate the kinesthetic element, games such as Hopscotch and Aerobics were also a part of the week.
