SCHOLAR BADGE CEREMONY AND FUN FIESTA FOR CLASSES VII, VIII AND IX -14TH NOVEMBER 2024
Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj celebrated the Children's Day uniquely venting children’s creativity. The students devoted themselves to improvising and materialising the concept of having “an affair of the students and by the students” as conceived by the esteemed principal to celebrate the true essence of a children’s day.
The programme was divided into three segments. The first part commenced with the Scholar Badge Ceremony conducted at the Multi Purpose Hall, followed by a cultural extravaganza comprising theme–based soulful songs, scintillating dance performances and a nukkad natak.
The principal, Mrs Deepti Vohra, addressed the august gathering. She encouraged and praised the students for their academic achievement and the overwhelming energy with which they shaped the programme at short notice. She also urged the parents to spend quality time with their children and monitor and control their screen time.
The third segment began with the thematic exhibition of The Journey of Indian Cinema, Environmental Challenges and Their Solutions and The Unity in Diversity of India showcased by the students of classes VII, VIII and IX respectively.
The programme was a huge success with participation from 407 students. The parents, grandparents and teachers visited the stalls. They participated in all the activities with excess enthusiasm. The endeavour received a thunderous applause from all corners.
