Jashn-E-Khirman -  A Vibrant Tribute to Harvest Festivals

The nursery kids of Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, celebrated their Annual Day, ‘Jashn-E-Khirman’, on 13 March, 2025. With great enthusiasm, they showcased their talents and creativity through a variety of performances. The theme, ‘Harvest Festivals’, celebrated India’s rich cultural diversity by highlighting festivals such as Pongal, Baisakhi, Bihu, Holi, Makar Sankranti, and Gudi Padwa.

Ms. Ritu Arora,  Rep of Class Nursery warmly welcomed the attendees. The Chief Guest, Ms.Dolly Chanana, was graciously received by the school Principal, Ms. Deepti Vohra and Headmistress, Ms. Malini K Sen Gupta.

Dressed in vibrant costumes, the young performers impressed the audience with traditional dances and enactments, showcasing each harvest festival.

The Chief Guest, along with the Principal, and the Headmistress, shared their thoughts on the significance of harvest festivals and the importance of celebrating our cultural diversity. Their words of encouragement and appreciation motivated the young performers.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Ms. Gitika Sehgal, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, parents, and teachers for their unwavering support and participation.
