Hindi Diwas

14 September,1949, the day the Constituent Assembly of India adopted Hindi as its official language and is celebrated as Hindi Diwas, every year .Many schools, colleges and offices celebrate this day with great enthusiasm.
To honour this day, Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj celebrated Hindi Diwas. Various activities were organised by the Hindi Department for the students of Classes III-V to promote the use of Hindi language. The children participated in various activities with a lot of excitement and fervour. They recited poems written by famous poets, read stories, designed beautiful badges and wrote famous thoughts,slogans and quotes on it. They wore these badges and gave to the teachers too. They also designed greeting cards. Children understood the significance of the language and expressed their interest by participating in these activities whole heartedly.
