An educational trip to the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve was organized from 23rd August to 25th August 2024 by the school for students of class VII . EdTerra was roped in to make all the arrangements. 85 students went on the trip of which 48 were girls and 37 were boys. Students were accompanied by 10 staff members.
The students travelled by A/C buses. The girls stayed at the Sawai Bagh resort while the boys stayed at the Abhayaran resort. All arrangements were impeccable, food was delicious and the hospitality was heart - warming.
On day 1 a documentary on wild life was screened & a session with a naturalist was organised. Next day, children visited the tiger reserve in canters and everyone enjoyed the off-roading experience as well as the sighting of the wild animals. The jungle safari was an enthralling experience for the children. The day’s activity also included a visit to the Ranthambore fort and Ganesha temple under the guidance of a trained guide who enlightened the group about the history of the fort and the temple. A visit to the NGO 'Dastkar' gave the children a glimpse of the invaluable work of the local community in creating exquisite handmade garments and various other handicrafts. A DJ night was the icing on the cake the children danced to their hearts content.
