Teacher’s Day
"A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart"
To honour the teachers on Teacher’s Day, a special assembly was held in the C Block Courtyard on 5th September,2022. The assembly commenced with a prayer followed by an inspiring speech by the school Principal, Mrs. Deepti Vohra. Furthermore, children presented the news and the thought. The energetic tiny tots of Class Prep presented the electrifying Kalbeliya dance which they had performed in the Inter-School Dance event held at Bal Bharti Public School, Noida on 3rd September, 2022. These little ones mesmerised everyone present there and bagged the first position. They were applauded for their wonderful performance by the Director of our school, Mrs. Bindu Sehgal. She also gave away the prizes to this young troupe of dancers. The school choir sang melodious songs which was enjoyed by all. The children expressed their gratitude for the relentless efforts of the teachers through poem recitation. In the end, the school Head Mistress, Mrs. Malini K. Sengupta shared her personal experiences of being a teacher and applauded the sincerity and dedication of the DPS Fraternity. The assembly concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.
