The Alumni Meet 2024, held on Friday, 13th December in the Multipurpose Hall of Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj, was a delightful and nostalgic event that brought together around 110 alumni from the batches of 1997 to 2020. This warm gathering, the second official edition of the school’s alumni meet, celebrated cherished memories, camaraderie, and the legacy of the school.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended by the Principal and Vice-Principal, who expressed their pride in the achievements of the alumni and their joy at seeing the school community reunited. A special highlight of the evening was the distribution of the school brochure, a memento commemorating the school’s monumental journey of three decades, given to all attendees as a keepsake.
A cultural program added vibrancy to the occasion. Alumni were treated to a series of captivating performances, including music and dance, which created an atmosphere of joy and celebration. A special moment of the evening was when one of the alumni, Raj Laxmi from the 2015 batch, took to the stage and mesmerized everyone with her soulful renditions of popular songs, leaving the audience enthralled.
The meet was filled with engaging activities, including delectable food and a heartwarming school tour, which evoked fond memories of their school days. The alumni appreciated this meet-and-greet opportunity to reminisce, network, and celebrate their shared experiences at DPS Vasant Kunj.
As the evening concluded, it was evident that the Alumni Meet 2024 had successfully brought the past and present together in a spirit of joy, nostalgia, and pride, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating the next edition.
