INVESTITURE AND GOLD MEDAL CEREMONY FOR CLASSES V, XI & XII

The Investiture and Gold Medal Ceremony for the academic session 2023-24 was organized by Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj on 1st August 2023.
On this momentous occasion the school introduced its newly formed Student Council and proudly felicitated its gold medalists and scholars at the Investiture ceremony of grades V, XI and XI and the Scholar Badge ceremony for grade XII.
The event was graced by Shri Ravi Vira Gupta, Chairperson, Managing Committee, Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj as the chief guest. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a resounding performance by the school choir.
The Principal of the school, Ms.Deepti Vohra began her welcome address by expressing her pride in the curricular and co-curricular achievements of the meritorious scholars. She elaborated how the school encourages holistic development of its students and provides them with numerous opportunities to acquire valuable skills, which succor them to grow as individuals.
The Chief Guest, Shri. Ravi Vira Gupta then extended his warm greetings to the proud parents and the deserving scholars. He congratulated the parents and guardians for the achievements of the young achievers.
This was followed by felicitating the newly formed Junior and Senior school Student Council members. Shri Ravi Vira Gupta also administered the oath to around 130-member strong school student council.
Next, a captivating classical dance performance by the elegant dancers enthralled the audience.
For the Gold Medal Honour ceremony, nearly 42 brilliant scholars from grade XII were awarded the prestigious gold medal for demonstrating academic excellence seven years in a row. Students also received Blue blazers and Scholar Badges for their excellent academic achievements.
The whole ambience of the school's Multi-Purpose Hall was vibrant with the cheers and applause of the proud parents, grandparents and teachers for the students who had stood the test of time and emerged as winners.
The momentous ceremony concluded with the Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem being sung in unison by the congregation.
