Arthashastra and Confest 2025
The Commerce and Economics club of DPS VK hosted its annual event, Arthashastra and Confest, on 20th May 2025. By bringing together the vibrant worlds of business, finance and consumerism, this initiative presents a platform to promote responsible consumerism in an age of endless choice.
The day began with the inaugural ceremony which was graced by the revered principal, Ms. Deepti Vohra ma’am and respected heads. It commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp and brief introduction about the fest. With around 120 participating students from 17 schools, seven dynamic events were successfully conducted:
- Venture Renascita- Analysing a failed business and proposing a tailored revival strategy.
- Traders Turf- A simulated stock market competition.
- ComQuest- A quiz revolving around financial areas.
- Econovaad- Participants represent nations and advocate for their economic agendas.
- Skitopia- A skit spotlighting consumer rights, duties and responsibilities.
- Consumer Couture- A combination of passion for style and the readiness to make a statement with your voice.
- Comic Crusaders- A hand drawn comic strip event sensitising consumer duties set in a marketplace.
These events brought together a celebration of modern consumer and ever evolving marketplace. The winners and runners up of all seven events were felicitated in the Valedictory Ceremony with DPS Dwarka bagging the overall trophy for Arthashastra and Confest’25.
