Transport Week
Transport Week was organized for the students of classes Nursery - II, from 25th to 29th November, 2024. The fun-filled event created awareness about the importance of road safety, various modes of transport and traffic signs. The little ones showcased their creativity in the ‘Dress Me Up Activity’ based on their favourite mode of transport. Art and craft work was very exciting as the children engaged in paper-tearing activity to depict My journey to Space and means of transport, along with submarine craft. Poems, songs and rhymes brought cross-curricular links to the fore. An Intra-Class Poetry Recitation Competition was organised for the students of Class II. Yummilicious train with biscuits and chocolate made the little ones wonder how to eat the train! The event also included story time sessions followed by 3D craft work and creative writing on the topic, ‘My Dream Transport’. Children learnt to recognise the simple road signs and how to be safe on the road. Needless to say, they imparted their tender knowledge back home with fun and excitement!
