PRINCIPAL’S XI vs. ALUMNI’S XI
Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj hosted a friendly cricket match on Sunday, February 22, 2026, with the school's staff pitting against former students. The event was held in the scenic Big Field from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with delightful weather providing the perfect setting for the game.
The occasion was honoured by Chief Guest Sri Kailash Gehlot, Member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. The initiative, spearheaded by Principal Mrs. Deepti Vohra, was a grand success from the first ball to the last. The match unfolded as an exhilarating experience filled with energy, excitement, enthusiasm, and fervor, with the spirited atmosphere intensifying as the game progressed.
The final moment was met with loud cheers from the audience, accompanied by IPL music celebrating the exhilarating victory. Distinguished guest Sri Kailash Gehlot presented the prizes, with the Winner’s Trophy presented to the captains of the Principal’s XI and Alumni’s XI. Sujal Singh, a renowned cricketer of the Indian Cricket Team and the talented alumni of DPS Vasant Kunj, received the Best Batsmen Trophy and Ripunjay Mishra bagged the Best Bowler trophy.
