Animal Week-2022
The Junior School organised Animal Week from 21st to 25th November, 2022 for students of Classes Nur-II with an aim to develop compassion among all for the magnificent animal world. With an array of meaningful activities, children enjoyed making animal headgears, collage with cut-outs of animal pictures, drawing animals using numbers and creating a Lion mask. They learnt and sang songs – If I were a butterfly; Old Mc Donalds: Paanch Meel Par. Stories and creative writing sessions kept them engaged as they explored different facts in the Animal Quiz which enhanced their knowledge. Children excitedly took part in Intra-class Animal races,conducted in the field. They thoroughly enjoyed all activities and learnt why it is important to protect nature’s jewels – animals and birds and treat them with dignity, love and care!
