CHILDREN'S DAY
“Kids fill up our lives with their bright smiles and sunshine. Let's treasure them always.”
Classes Nursery - V celebrated Children's Day, the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, with fun and gaiety on 14 November, 2024. The tiny tots of Class Nursery went on a fun-filled picnic to Vasant Vatika Park. They played games like ‘Ring the Elephant’ and ‘Pass the Parcel’ and enjoyed eating out with their friends and teachers on the lush green lawn, indulging in a lot of free play as well. Classes Prep - II organized exciting activities and games like ‘Musical Chairs’, ‘Fire in the Mountain’, ‘Passing the Ball’, ‘Jump in the Ring’ and ‘Hopscotch’ for the children which also inculcated values of sportsmanship and teamwork.
Children recited the Hindi poem that they had learnt in circle time in Class Prep on Chacha Nehru. They also made headgear, Nehru’s cap and red rose badge. Students of Class I showed creativity and fineness in water painting. An Intra-Class Drawing and Colouring Competition was also organized for the students of Class II on the topic ‘My Favourite Cartoon Character”. Students of classes III-V enjoyed the screening of an animated movie, ‘Up’ in the Multipurpose Hall. Children took home not only the small gifts that they had received from the school but also beautiful memories of fun happiness and togetherness!
