Investiture and Scholar Badge Ceremony Grade XI & XII

Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj has been dedicated to fostering selflessness and responsibility for nearly three decades. The school introduced its newly established Student Council and proudly felicitated its scholars at the Investiture and Scholar Badge ceremony for grades XI and XII held on November 24, 2022. The event was graced by Shri Ravi Vira Gupta, Chairperson, Managing Committee, Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by an astounding performance of the self-composed song "World Without Lines" by the school band. The melodious rendition highlighted the emotions of harmony and love deep within one’s soul. Next, our honoured Principal ma’am, Ms. Deepti Vohra took to the stage to address the august gathering. She encouraged the students to possess a meritorious nature and foster a spirit of perfectionism. Students gave an awe inspiring classical dance performance depicting the relationship between a guru and disciple(s). The breathtaking showcase preceded the chief guest’s address to the audience where he inspired the young generation to strive towards excellence. He also administered the oath to the newly formed Student Council pledging their services and devotion towards the betterment of the school. Subsequently, the decorated achievers of the newly formed Student Council led by the Head Boy and the Head Girl were felicitated by the Chief Guest, Shri Ravi Vira Gupta, our honourable Director ma'am, Principal ma'am and Vice Principal ma'am. At the ceremony, nearly 60 brilliant scholars from grade XII were awarded the gold medal for excellence in academics throughout their time at DPS. Approximately 400 Scholar badge holders of grades XI and XII were also awarded for their achievement in academics. The momentous ceremony concluded with the Vote of Thanks and National Anthem being sung in unison by the congregation.
