Annual Day and Scholar Badge Ceremony for Classes V and VI

Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj organized the Annual Day and Scholar Badge Ceremony for classes V and VI for the academic session 2023-24 on 26th October, 2024 in the MPH.

Mr Himanshu Gupta, Secretary CBSE, and Ms Bindu Sehgal, Former Director, DPS Vasant Kunj, honoured the occasion as esteemed guests. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by a planter presentation to the guests as a token of appreciation. The school principal, Ms. Deepti Vohra, welcomed the solemn gathering by expressing her pride in the curricular achievements of the meritorious scholars and emphasised the valuable lessons learnt from the epic saga of Lord Ram’s life. The school choir performed a soulful rendition of ‘Shree Ram Stuti – Shree Ramchandra Kripalu Bhajman’, an invocation song to pay homage to Lord Ram which bagged special appreciation from the chief guest. 

The Chief Guest, Mr Himanshu Gupta, Secretary CBSE, addressed the august gathering. He guided the parents, children, and teachers to stay away from the digital world and be role models to their children by leading through example. 347 students were honoured for their academic achievements in the Scholar Badge Ceremony followed by a spectacular show of Ramayana- the Epic Saga with a total participation of 405 students. A vote of thanks and the National Anthem sung with fervour by the congregation concluded the ceremony.
