IOAI (The International Olympiad of Artificial Intelligence)- 2025
Arjun Tyagi, a student of DPS Vasant Kunj from class 11B, represented India in the prestigious IOAI, the International Olympiad of Artificial Intelligence held in Beijing,China from 2nd to 9th August 2025 with over 60 participating countries. He won a gold medal with India placing third overall.

Luminaire – Renewable Energy Competition at The Mother’s International School
The Mother’s International School recently hosted Luminaire, an inter-school competition dedicated to the theme of renewable energy. The event aimed to inspire young minds to explore innovative ideas for a sustainable future.
There were three exciting categories in which students showcased their creativity and knowledge:
1. Create a Comic Strip – highlighting renewable energy concepts through art and storytelling.
2. Symposium – a platform for insightful presentations and discussions.
3. Compose an Anthem – crafting an inspiring song to promote sustainable living.
Students from Classes IX to XI participated enthusiastically in the events. The participants from our school were:

Geeta Chanting Competition 2025
The 29th Inter School Geeta Chanting Competition was organised by Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vasant Vihar on 31st July 2025.
Seventeen students of DPS Vasant Kunj participated in the competition and recited the 15th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.
Vandita Sriidhar of class VC was awarded the FIRST prize and Unnati Dangwal of 4-E received Consolation prize in the junior category.
Ninaad Swapnil Jaikar and KM Anarghya of VI-F and Mehar Dawer of VI-E received Consolation prizes in the Middle category.
In the senior category Rohith Vasishtha of IX- I and Laksh Dangwal of XI-C were awarded Consolation prizes in the Senior category

Aarush Tiwari's Participation in Asian Open Championship
We are proud to share that Aarush Tiwari has been selected to represent India at the prestigious Asian Open Championship to be held in Manila from 31st July to 5th August. As a mark of recognition, Aarush was invited to a breakfast interaction with the Hon’ble Union Minister of Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, at his residence, where he met fellow athletes chosen for the championship.
We wish Aarush the very best as he represents the nation on the international stage.
OCA-ISU-CAIC Asian Figure Skating Youth Camp
Aarush Tiwari, a talented figure skater from India, has been selected to represent the country at the prestigious OCA-ISU-CAIC Asian Figure Skating Youth Camp to be held in Harbin, China, from August 10 to 18, 2025. This camp is jointly organized by the Olympic Committee of Asia (OCA), International Skating Union (ISU), and the Children of Asia International Committee (CAIC).
Aarush will travel to Harbin on August 9, 2025, and return on August 19, 2025. His participation in this international event highlights his dedication to the sport and reflects the growing prominence of Indian athletes in winter sports on the global stage.
Inter DPS National Level English Literary Festival - Oratoria
DPS Vasant Kunj triumphed at the Inter-DPS National Level English Literary Festival – Oratoria 2025 hosted by DPS Navi Mumbai on 19 July 2025, under the aegis of The Delhi Public School Society. With the theme “Where Words Breathe, Voices Rise,” the festival brought together young literary minds from 28 DPS schools across the country in a grand confluence of creativity, imagination, and expression.
The festival featured a range of literary events including NextGen Narratives, Echoes and Verse, The Sinister Stand, and LitLoom - Clash of Minds, making it a true celebration of language and expression. DPS Vasant Kunj emerged as the Overall Winner in the English Debate Competition. Our team comprising of Saanvi Sharma (Class X), Mannat Budhiraja (Class XI), and Akshat Raj (Class XI) secured the First Position in LitLoom – Clash of Minds.
Adding to the glory, Saanvi Sharma was adjudged Best Speaker, and Akshat Raj bagged the title of Best Interjector. DPS Vasant Kunj had earlier qualified for the National Level from among 81 schools which participated in the preliminary round. This historic win marks a proud moment setting a new benchmark of excellence.

Mathematical Crusade
A team of students from our school participated in the Mathematical Crusade organized by Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram on 19th July 2025. The event brought together bright young minds from various reputed institutions to engage in a series of intellectually stimulating mathematical challenges.
Our students took part in the following competitions:
1. Pie-o-near Quiz – A fast-paced quiz testing mathematical reasoning and accuracy.
2. Symphonies – A musical performance-based event integrating mathematics with art and creativity.
3. Modeil Mathematica
4. Math-o-Kalender – A design-based competition involving the creation of mathematically themed calendars.
5. Brain Wave – A logic and reasoning challenge designed to test lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
Results Achieved:
• 2nd Position in Pie-o-neer Quiz
• 3rd Position in Symphonies
• Overall 2nd Runner-Up among all participating schools
Our students showcased excellent analytical skills, teamwork, and creative expression across all events. Their efforts were commended by the organizers and participating schools alike.

20th National Ice and Figure Skating Championship
Aarush Tiwari, a Class VIII student,won gold at the 20th National Ice and Figure Skating Championship in Dehradun (June 18-30,2025). This achievement marks his hat-trick of national championships, making him the only skater in India to have won three consecutive gold medals at the national level. Congratulations to Aarush on this remarkable feat!

Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships
Huge congratulations to Ritvik Gupta for winning the Silver Medal at the 29th Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan held from 26th June to 2nd July,2025. This achievement is a testament to Ritvik's hard work and dedication. Wishing him continued success in his future endeavors!

JSTSE(MVPP) 2024-25
The Junior Science Talent Search Examination renamed as Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha(MVPP) for students of class 9th is meant to identify and nurture the talented students. The examination is conducted every year at state level. For the session 2024-25, Nine students of our school have made their place in merit list and are eligible for scholarship.
