Interact Club - Rotary Vasant Kunj
INTERACT CLUB
Rooted in the Rotary ethos of “Service Above Self,” the Interact Club of DPSVK, in collaboration with Rotary International District 3011, serves as a student-led platform for students aged 12–18, encouraging leadership, empathy, and civic awareness in alignment with Rotary’s seven areas of focus. The club empowers students, fosters responsibility, and contributes meaningfully towards a sustainable, inclusive, and equitable future.
ACTIVITIES & INITIATIVES
The club’s flagship initiatives include the adoption of Asha Ki Kiran, an underprivileged school supported in collaboration with Lycée Sainte Marie, France, strengthening educational outreach, health awareness, and cross-cultural engagement. Sustained support is also extended to the Ashok Sawhney Foundation Old Age Home through monthly ration drives, reinforcing dignity and care for senior citizens.
Environmental responsibility is advanced through the Plastic Warriors Campaign, a monthly plastic collection and recycling initiative. In 2025, the club received the “Plastic Warrior Award for Silver Zone Category” for collecting and recycling 139kg of undisposed plastic waste.
Complementing these efforts, the club undertakes fundraisers for diverse causes, capacity-building workshops, on-site projects, and community visits and interactions, ensuring active participation and real-world impact. The club won the rolling trophy at Luminaire, Renewable Energy Competition at Mothe’s International School.
Through Rotary International, members gain access to leadership exposure, global collaboration, and meaningful opportunities for growth.
RECRUITMENT
Recruitment to the club remains open throughout the year and is conducted through an interview-based selection process, ensuring committed and purpose-driven participation.

DPS Vasant Kunj Student Appointed as Additional District Interact Representative
Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj is proud to announce the appointment of Kevin Balhara, Class XI-C, as an Additional District Interact Representative (ADIR) for Rotary International District 3011 for the Rotary year 2026–27.
As an ADIR, Kevin will work with the District Interact leadership team to strengthen collaboration among more than 249 Interact Clubs across District 3011, covering Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Rohtak, and surrounding areas to encourage greater participation in district initiatives, and contribute to projects that create meaningful and sustainable community impact. He hopes to create greater opportunities for Interactors to share ideas, learn from one another, and take leadership in service initiatives.
