DPS Vasant Kunj strives to create lifelong readers. The school is equipped with three
libraries catering to the reading needs across grades. These libraries are well stocked
with books ranging from latest fiction to nonfiction, as well as supports the curriculum
needs of students and staff alike.
A Block Library (Senior Wing)
The A block library caters to the students of classes X-XII. The library is well stocked
with books and magazines for recreation as well as reference books to support the
curriculum.
D Block Library (Junior Wing)
The D block library caters to the students of classes VI-IX. The library is divided into
two floors. The first floor has ample reading space where students and staff can go to
read in silence. This library too is well furnished to meet the need of the students.
B Block Library (Junior Wing)
The B block library caters to the students of classes I-V. Books are issued from grade III
onwards. The younger ones come to the library during their respective classes to read.
Each library also organizes activities throughout the year based on books, authors and
important days of the year. This helps build interest of the students and foster a love for
reading.
