COMMERCE ECO CLUB

 INTRODUCTION:

The COMMERCE ECO CLUB came into inception in the year 2008. The club is one of the most vivacious clubs of Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj which through its assorted activities enunciates the practical functioning of the subject –related theoretical concepts.

AIM:

The club strives to develop a business acumen, an entrepreneurial outlook, and organizational skills in the students.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

The students who show keen interest and inclination towards the subjects and financial concepts or participate in the various in-house events are recruited as members in the club.

The club organizes a ‘Talent Hunt’ for the students of classes IX and XI. Events such as Mock Stock, Logo Mania, Meme-o-graphy and Brand-Ad are organized. The club has also initiated events for the students of Class VIII this year in order to introduce them to the world of Commerce.

ACTIVITIES: 

As part of its tradition, the club has been organizing its annual Inter-School Commerce and Economics fest, "Arthashastra" every year. This fest provides a platform for budding economists and future business tycoons to voice their opinions on various economic and business-related issues.

Members of the club show an active participation in various inter-school competitions. These bright minds express their caliber by participating at the university level, as well. Students participate in competitions organized by colleges such as ‘Shri Ram College of Commerce’ every year. 

These platforms provide our young achievers with real life experiences and practical knowledge which help them to enhance their interest in these areas.
